If not then advice me what to do. Thanks|||hi

go to control panel-system-advanced, then select setting from start up and recovery group.

check weather the option is select - %26#039;time to display list of operating system 30 sec%26#039;

click edit and then check notepad is something like this

[boot loader]

timeout=30

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partiti鈥?br>

[operating systems]

win xp...........(file name)

win me..........

if win me line is not there then reinstall

bye|||XP allows compatibility mode. I%26#039;ve got 98 and XP, and XP is the default. Shouldn%26#039;t be a problem. Control panel, system help can show you the steps.|||If you installed ME after XP, you cannot correct it. Reinstall XP. Else from %26quot;Start%26quot; menu select %26quot;Run%26quot; and type %26quot;msconfig%26quot; then press Enter.

go to %26quot;Boot.ini%26quot; tab and look for your second OS. If it existed, active it.|||Your boot .ini file is located in your C: drive with documents and settings,program files and windows,it is a hidden system file so you will have to show these in folder options or do a search for it.Change the Timeout to around 30 to give yourself sometime to switch to it during boot up.If you have it on a seperate hardrive change it from bios|||It%26#039;s possible, but not recommended. You%26#039;ll have to partition your hard drive in order to do that.
