y can't i change my bootscreen by style xp anymore?????
itz showing ' your BOOT.INI file cannot be understood style xp will disable to boot screen section' wen i click on the 'BOOT SCREENS' tab ...... n when i try to apply a boot screen is tellin 'your boot screen kernel could not be reset' ....i have no idea of how dis happened ..nyway how do i fix dis?????

I think that style xp has a restore function, ie. delete the changes that it made to BOOT.INI or the kernel. If it is not working then try to restore the computer to a few days back.
The BOOT.INI file is always taken as backup by the computer and the restore function of XP so hopefully you will get it back!
If the style XP software is pirated there might be malware or viruses that your antivirus didn't detect. An improper shutdownl will also make the same problem, like may be computer was in standby mode and you didn't realise and pulled the plug.
